hqdefaultThis is the first song I heard from this band.  I remember thinking that dude could really belt out the vocals.  I dug the riffage and the overall pace and rhythm of the track.  The Seattle sound was new to all of us at this point, as was the desert feel to rock and roll.  The video for this song started to tie all that together for me.  As Dan stated in the podcast, Chris Cornell’s vocals were atrocious live in 1990, but were significantly better just 2 years later when he saw them open for Rev. Horton Heat.  I do like Soundgarden, and quite like their first couple of albums.  The more commercial stuff is alright, but I don’t listen that all that much anymore.  However, I did like Cornell’s 007 James Bond theme song he did a few movies back. – FATS
